Disorder in Condensed Matter and Ultracold Atoms

Workshop in Varenna, Italy from June 9 to June 14, 2013

The conference will bring together theorists and experimentalists working in the field of disorder in both condensed matter and ultracold atoms.

The conference follows from the summer school « Disordered Systems : From Condensed-Matter Physics to Ultracold Atomic Gases » (Cargèse, May 31st to June 11th, 2011).
The goal is again to put together the two communities, and stimulate cross-fertilization of new ideas.

Posters and short talks : All participants are strongly encouraged to present a poster at the conference. A special poster session will be organized. The scientific committee might ask some participants to give a short-talk instead of a poster.

Registration information : Due to finite space, the conference is limited to 70 participants. In order to participate, you should first pre-register. Fill up the pre-registration file attached to this message, and send it to dcmua.info cqstar.eu before April 5th.
Shortly after this date, the Scientific Committee will inform you about approval of your participation.
Final registration with payment of the registration fees will then be open, and a precise procedure will be sent to you by email.

The conference fees are 500 EUR (before May 3rd) or 600 EUR (after May 4th) per participant, plus an extra charge of 25 EUR for participation to the gala dinner (on thursday 13th June). The fees cover the conference costs, coffee breaks, lunches, welcome party, and all conference materials (badges, booklet, ...). _They do not cover travel, accommodation, nor dinner costs.

Participants are expected to take care of the booking of their own accommodations. A list of nice hotels with rooms reserved for the participants until May 3rd, special prices and at walking distance from Villa Monastero, where the conference takes place, will be posted on the web page.
